Life-time

Life, as we know, is a journey,
Through time’s vast and endless tourney.
It pulls us from the days gone past,
To the present, fleeting but vast.

And while we shift from now to later,
A choice lies hidden, soft in nature.
So subtle it escapes our eyes,
A treasure we might not realize.

This choice, it calls for mindful care,
To shape each moment, pure and rare.
Not to live by chance or sway,
But to craft each step along the way.

At times, routines may take their hold,
And turn my days to stories told.
I magnify their weight in mind,
While missing truths Life left behind.

At times, I’m lost in magic charms,
Its fleeting joy, its false alarms.
I wander far, then yearn once more,
To find my path, my inner core.

And so, as I reflect and see,
One change stands out most clear to me:
To live the moment, here and now,
And greet Life’s dance with mind-ful bow.

To twirl in every fleeting chance,
Embracing Life’s eternal dance.
To move with grace, despite missteps,
Knowing Who steadies when I’ve wept.

As I go slow, Life’s song I hear,
Its rhythm pure, its meaning clear.
Tuning in to my Eternal partner,
And cast aside my fears anew.

Cause at the very end
When its time to let hands part
I’ll bow with joy and a grateful heart
A dance fulfilled, no steps to rue – A life full filled, in every hue!!
